Hello!!!! My name is Tim Helwig. I currently clean and maintain the grounds at Holy Family Church. I was born in Ellendale, N.D. and moved to Duluth when I was 6 years old. I grew up in Lakeside where our family were members of St. Michael's Church. I am married to Beth, and we have one adult daughter named Lindsay. We currently live in upper Woodland. I have been a member of St. Benedict's Parish for 31 years, and I try to involve myself in learning and sharing more about our Catholic faith with different groups such as Men and Faith, and Encourage. Previously, I worked for Comfort Systems and after retiring from there, I have worked part-time for UDAC, MN Teen Challenge, and at the Cathedral.  My hobbies are staying as active as possible by riding bike, walking (used to be running), canoeing, fishing, gardening, cc skiing, hockey, camping and golf. I enjoy cooking and will punish myself now and then with a home project or car repair.
